why we built the membership —

When a family has the same slot all year, their helper can plan across months instead of guessing week to week. That consistency is most of why this works. The membership just makes it easy to keep.

why we added parent sessions —

Kids finding their voice only works if someone at home knows how to hear it. A parent session is a working hour: what to ask, what not to ask, what to do at 9pm when it all falls apart. It isn't counseling and it isn't about you — it's about the kid you're both working on.

The ocean room at Artplay
Why every other week?

The off week is where it works.

Kids need the in-between weeks to actually use what they've built — speaking up, trying the hard thing, working it out themselves. It also keeps Artplay sustainable for family budgets.

You're paying for independence, not dependence.

How paying works

No insurance — on purpose

Insurance requires a diagnosis. Most kids don't need a label; they need skills and confidence. Private pay means nothing goes on your child's record, and our only accountability is to your family.

Ways to pay

Card, HSA/FSA where your plan administrator allows it, and we're glad to talk through ESA and school-district funding — several Arizona districts and agencies have funded kids to attend Artplay.
